The Voelz, Reed & Mount Foundation is excited for Sue Lamborn, with Thrive Alliance , to attend The Dementia Action Alliance conference this fall. Her attendance at this conference will provide her with strategies to effectively evaluate and implement changes to assist local communities in engaging in dementia friendly practices.
We believe that the services that Thrive alliance provides to the community are incredibly valuable. We are happy to have the opportunity to assist Sue in acquiring additional education to better serve not only people with dementia, but also for those who are caregivers for people with dementia.
As our population continues to age, strategies in caring for those with dementia will certainly be important and essential skills to have. The more we know, the better care we all can provide!
