Older Americans Month Spotlight

Older Americans Month Spotlight:

Margaret is currently a resident in one of Thrive Alliance’s apartment complexes. She was born in Indianapolis and moved to Columbus 25 years ago when she met her husband. Margaret’s family has always played a central role in her life. She raised three children and has six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She has worked for Bartholomew County Schools for more than 20 years. Today she continues to work, filling a vital role as a Bus Monitor. When asked what piece of advice she gives her children and grandchildren Margaret highlighted that each generation seems to have its own obstacles as things seem to change but “Do your best” is advice that seems to hold true during any era.
